Biodiesel is the only alternative fuel that can be used directly in any recent model diesel engine (2002 onwards), without requiring any modification and without damaging it. Every engine requires a fuel that when subjected to different conditions remains stable and does not present any fault. Among other benefits Asepro´s biodiesel offers the engines greater lubrication and durability.
Biodiesel has 0 PPM of sulfur, which together with its lubricating properties reduces engine wear, combustion system, and increases the life of fuel injection equipment.
The number of cetanes in micralgae biodiesel is higher than the one in diesel, The higher the number of cetanes is, the faster the ignition process becomes and the better the quality of combustion.

GREATER SAFTEY AND HANDLING
Due to the high energy content of all liquid fuels, there is the danger of accidental ignition when the fuel is stored, transported or transferred. Biodiesel is much safer to store, handle and transport than diesel oil.
The flash point of biodiesel is greater than 160 degrees Celsius (320 F), petroleum diesel 52 to 96 degrees Celsius (125 to 204 F). This means a much lower risk in safety aspect during biodiesel storage.
